UV activated GFP

An investigator wants to use the GFPuv variant and the 'normal' GFP
simultaneously to select cells for sorting. We have some experience with the
'normal' GFP but not the UV activated variant. On paper it looks like this
should work (but oh, how often success stops there). Have not had much success
in the literature regarding the GFPuv or using both by flow. Has anyone had
some experience with this that they would be willing to share?
