John, We have successfully analyzed mammalian chromosomes on a BD FACS
Scan analyzer but only with ideal preps. If you are working with a
simple karyotype (euploid Chinese hamster for example) you can resolve
about eight peaks. Filter selection is critical as is sample
concentration and alignment. If you are interested in more details
