Our method for getting absolute numbers is basically that described
by Blab and Lennartz in Z. Naturforsch 46c, 1130-1133(1991) "A Simple
method for counting small numbers of cells by flow cytometry."
This method uses beads as an internal standard to compensate for
variability in the volume sampled by the instrument.
CD-ROM Vol 3 was produced by Monica M. Shively and other staff at the
Purdue University Cytometry Laboratories and distributed free of charge
as an educational service to the cytometry community.
