Flow cytometry specialist to run Flow Cytometry Core in the
Cleveland Clinic Foundation Research Institute.
The ideal applicant will be a person who can work independently of
direct supervision and has exceptional interpersonal skills to work
with many scientists in the Research Institute on a variety of
projects.
The applicant should have considerable experience with:
1) cell and tissue preparation for antibody staining of membrane
and intracellular proteins and DNA;
2) operation of the Becton Dickinson FACScan and
FACSVantage for analysis of stained cells and cell sorting;
3) use of CellQuest, Lysis II, and CellFit software analytical
programs;
4) Macintosh O/S; and,
5) data storage, record keeping, lab management, quality control
of the intruments and reagents, billing and ordering of
supplies.
