We frequently measure the AO stained cells by FACScan, which
otherwise is used for analysis of the cells stained with PI and
immunofluorescence measurements, with no evidence of any negative
effects of AO on subsequent samples. Following AO, however, the
instrument is rinsed by running a bleaching agent for about 10 min.
