I think it is unnecessary to do any math on what is after all
an arbitary cut-off of positivity.
Surely it is satisfactory to quote the % positivity of your test population
together with your arbitary cut-off of positivity and leave it at that.
(ie you DEFINE your negative population as having 5% or 3% positivity)
