Bioluminescence

Has anyone tried measuring bioluminescence in flow? The only ref that I've
seen is Lindqvist et al in Cyt 15 p207. When we've tried it, our
unexpressing cells pick up luciferin just like the expressing. Are there
trick that I'm missing? I'm still not sure exactly WHY it works at all.
Any thoughts??
