Park Scientific sell the polysciences range of beads (many fluorochromes as
well as unlabelled, gold etc). Their 2 micron fluoresbrite YG beads give
very bright 530nm emission at 488 excitation, and usable 530 with Argon or
HeCd UV excitation, they give a low FSC signal. They also sell a
Polychromatic range that gives bright fluorescence with a wide emission
spectrum with UV to 488 nm excitation.
I've only got a catalogue and no price list and my last bottle of beads has
lasted a couple of years, so I don't know how much the beads are.
