It seems that most people place the tissue in RPMI1640 with Fetal calf sera
prior to transport and processing. A sizable minority use RPMI1640 without added
sera. Time of processing does not seem to be a major concern as some people let
samples sit overnight prior to processing. Different people apparently prepare
their cell suspensions slightly differently, however everyone seems to use
fairly gentle techniques.
Thanks again for your help.
