Does anyone have any immunological techniques of distinguishing hematagones
(TdT+ CD19+ CD10+), commonly found in reactive bone marrows, from ALL??
When faced with this possiblity, we must "return" to morphology...something
I rather not have to admit to..
I agree with you that it is difficult to admit it, but now we have the solution.
We developed a method by flow cytometry to differentiate between them. It is based in the
quantification of TdT and CD10 CD19 and it works so well that we have the clinicians ringing to
get our results before reporting the bone marrows.
I am presenting a poster in Rimini about it.
