Flow Cytometrist
The Wellesley Hospital Research Institute is dedicated to basic and
clinical research in immunology. We are seeking an individual to
manage the core multi-user flow cytometry unit. The incumbent will provide
advice and consultation to scientists, their associates and students. He/she
will be responsible for insuring that all of the instrumentation is
maintained, train incoming students and fellows on the two FACScans; and
function as the exclusive operator of the cell sorter.
As the successful candidate, you must have experience in multi-parameter
BDFACStar Plus, BDFACScan and flowcytometric sorting, as well as, analysis
of intra-cellular calcium mobilization and influx. In addition, you must
have at least a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
