Thanks for your advice. We also thought, that we have the kind of problem
with our Syquest, as you told me. So we started to reboot our PC, whenever
we change our cartridge. But the Elite system had still 'killed' 3 other
cartridges. The problem also accurs only at the PC of the Elite. I often
changed the cartridges at other PCs and I never had a problem.
So, I still believe, that we have a Elite specific problem.
