Hi-
We've done some membrane and cytoplasmic staining (Franek, et al.,
Cytometry 17:224, 1994) and the fixation conditions we used are also
suitable for nuclear staining (at least as judged by BRdU labeling).
Although that particular reference doesn't say so, the method described is
perfectly suitable for multiple membrane staining in conjunction with
cytoplasmic or nuclear staining. I hope it helps.
