The extended charaters, like the Greek letters and degree signs didn't transport
across the 'Net.
In the Protocol by Li and Darzynkiewicz, they came out as ? (question marks!)
I hope we can all assume that ?g stands for microgram and ?l stands for
microliter.
The fancy +/- also comes out as ?
