Should be easy, I did it lots several years ago!
But...
> The file utilities in LYSYSII don't see the files on the floppy.
This probably means there is a blank filename at the top of the
list on the floppy; If the BD File Utility finds a blank name, it
assumes that is the end of the list, and doesn't bother to look
any further.

To do this, you must be able to use the Pascal Filer?
If so, armed with a list of files and a workable directory on
the hard disk, you can copy files like this:
c #3:DATA.001,#11:/TOM/DATA/FRIDAY/DATA.001
NOTE the comma! it separates the source from the destination!
Then there are some shortcuts!
You can use "$" to give the copy the same name as original, without
typing the whole thing; e.g.
c #3:DATA.001,#11:/TOM/DATA/FRIDAY/$
You can use wildcard characters to match groups of characters;
e.g "c #3:DATA.=,#11:/TOM/DATA/FRIDAY/$" will match any
files on floppy which start with "DATA." and make copies with
the same names in the specified directory on the hard disk.

Yes, I've done exactly that many times.
