Color Printers for Elite 4.0

We are looking for something better than an HP paint-jet for color output from
our Elite ESP (running Elite 4.0). Coulter tells us the paint-jet is the only
option since they do not have drivers for other printers (the company that
wrote the drivers went out of business). Has anyone else found a way to print
directly from the Elite software to a laser-quality color printer?
CD-ROM Vol 3 was produced by Monica M. Shively and other staff at the
Purdue University Cytometry Laboratories and distributed free of charge
as an educational service to the cytometry community.
