I always found it to difficult to compensate PI out of the
orange channel. I don't know if 7AAD DNA profiles are to
lousy, but I always wondered if there is a possibility of
just reducing the PI intensity by mixing the PI with a
competing molecule that does either is just not fluorescent
quenches of causes energy transfer. Perhaps Howard could
shed some light on that.

Hi Flowers:

We have a project in which we would like to study DNA ploidy plus protein
expression of two nuclear antigens. Our intrumentation is limited to a
FACSCAN. I assume that we will start by using FITC and propidium idodide.
But what, if any, is your recommendation for a third color? Is this
feasible with the limitation of our instrument?
