Does anyone have experience in the detection of gene
products involved in cell cycle control eg cyclins, cdks, p21,
p27 etc in cell suspensions. I am planning to measure such
proteins by indirect immunofluorescence concurrently with
DNA content using either PI or Hoechst staining in HeLa
cells. There is an extensive literature on changes in
expression as detected by Western blotting, there are
immunofluorescence micrographs, but I have not found
information on flow cytometry. It seems an obvious approach,
can anyone direct me to a reference?
