Getting FCAP-list Installation Files
Copy the 'zipped' installation files from the SOFTFLOW\FCAP directory
onto your hard disk or download them.
This procedure results two files on your computer: 'macid102.zip' and 'macdf102.zip'.
Extract the zipped files from 'macid102.zip, with the ZipIt Macintosh software
application. The extracted files appear in a folder entitled FCAP-list Installer Disk.
Copy the files onto a high density (HD) floppy disk from the folder. DO NOT
COPY THE FOLDER ONTO THE DISKETTE. Name the disk to 'FCAP-list Installer
Disk'.
Extract the zipped files from 'macdf102.zip, with the ZipIt Macintosh software
application. The extracted files appear in a folder entitled FCAP-list Demo Files
Disk. Copy the files onto a high density (HD) floppy disk from the folder. DO
NOT COPY THE FOLDER ONTO THE DISKETTE. Name the disk to 'FCAP-list Demo
Files Disk'.
You can install FCAP-list from the diskettes by following the installation
instructions summarized below.
If you do not have your ZipIt software, you can get it as described in
the Convert FCAP-list section.
FCAP-list Installation
The FCAP-list installation files are saved on two 3.5" high density diskettes
named FCAP-list Installer Disk and FCAP-list Demo Files Disk. The FCAP-list files
are compressed, so you cannot simply copy the files onto your hard disk. You
must install the FCAP-list program before you can use it.
1. Quit all other applications before installing FCAP-list.
2. Insert FCAP-list Installer Disk into floppy disk drive.
3. Double-click the FCAP-list Installation icon and follow the
instructions that appear on the screen.
The installer program copies FCAP-list software to your hard disk
and decompresses the files. The program automatically prompts you to insert the
required diskette, then asks you to insert the Installer Disk again.
4. For most installations, a message appears telling you the installation
was successful. Click Quit and remove the Installer Disk.
5. FCAP-list and the demonstration files appear in a folder on your
hard disk.
6. Double click the FCAP-list application icon to launch the program.
When you first time run the software, a Welcome dialog window appears which
allows you one of the following options:
To register the software.
To print the Registration Form.
To continue in demonstration mode.
